Once there were Golden Ages where many faiths worshipped alongside each other in peace. The same civilised impulse is surfacing again. Open-minded, scholarly muslims have argued that their own golden ages of Islam were established during times of multi-faith harmony. This new mosque in LA, created by women for women, as one of various different routes out of stalemates and cultural impasses, encourages other faiths to share the building in prayer and mingling.
