Aramaic Syria. A view into an age of cultural harmony. The 5,000 people of this village, more than half of them muslims, are determined to preserve a language not yet extinguished by time. Locals are proud to breath life today into a language which was once spoken by Jesus and is now shared by all faiths, loved for its universal and communal beauty. To source self-respect, new generations will learn of the human heart, and also search history for its humbling human treasures. Sometimes the past unravels the mysteries of the future.
